What this directory is

Cheltenham Paving Contractor Guide is an independent listing and comparison resource covering 36 paving contractor businesses in Cheltenham. It exists for homeowners and property managers who want a clear, fact-based way to compare local contractors before picking up the phone: driveway resurfacing, patio laying, block paving repairs, and general groundworks all fall under what we track here.

Where the listing data comes from

Every profile is built from public business information (things like registered trading details, service areas, and contact information) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We read the sentiment and substance of what customers are saying, but we do not republish review text or copy comments wholesale. Instead we link out to the business’s Google listing so you can read reviews in full, in their original context, directly from the source.

How rankings are earned

Rankings come from a published rubric applied consistently to every contractor in the directory, covering things like review sentiment, responsiveness signals, and consistency of service over time. Nobody buys a better position. Full details of what we measure and how it’s weighted are on our methodology page, so you can check our working rather than take our word for it.

Where sponsorship exists, it’s labelled “Sponsored” and displayed separately from the earned ranking, never blended into it. A sponsored slot tells you a business has paid for visibility. It never tells you they scored higher than a competitor.

A business listed here can contact us to correct factual errors, such as an outdated phone number, address, or service list. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment reading, or its position in the ranking. That stays independent by design.

Who’s behind it and how fresh it is

This directory is published by Meridian Guides, which runs independent city directories for everyday services across Malaysia, each using the same published scoring approach and the same rule that rankings aren’t for sale.
